I feel very good today, because Saturday is weigh-in day and I have lost 4 lbs. That's right! To you skinnies out there I know this seems like a major accomplishment but trust me there is a looooooong way to go.
Today I am going to try to focus only on the positive (starting....now)
I have one of my absolute favorite breakfasts, in the history of breakfast; 1 cup fat free vanilla yogurt, 1/3 cup low fat granola (with raisins), and a large apple cubed mix it all together and you get yumminess!!!! (I know you are all jealous, but these items are all readily available for you to get for yourself.)
Now for lunch I am having a big splurge, a taco salad with 1/4 cup ground turkey taco meat, and half an avacado diced over it, and 1/8 cup shredded cheese over 2 cups of lettuce. Delicious, you should try it sometime.
I am always looking for new low calorie recipies too, if anybody has any.

Day 45 on the island...
Just kidding, it is actually only day 3 and ironically, I actually love most "diet" foods. I am currently enjoying a pink grapefruit half thoroughly. It's weird, if I could just focus on the healthy foods that I really enjoy and ignore the cheesecakes, nachos, chips & dip, and ribs that I enjoy I would be okay. I love salad, I have only met 2 fruits that I didn't like, (lichi, and pomegranite if you must know.) I love celery sticks and hummus, I really like those Smart Ones (TM) deserts that they sell in your grocer's freezer. Does anyone really have a particular "grocer" anymore?
It is the exercising that I seem to have a problem with...if you don't understand why try the following experiment:
Strap and extra 150lb weight onto your body, stand and walk for 4 hours(mix in some bending, kneeling, and squatting to shift/search for/and reshelve books) sit for 45mins, get up and walk, then lift 10 boxes of books bending to put them away this should be done for approximately 5 hours. Now, once you have done that, go home clean your apartment, make dinner and now it is workout time!!!! Kind of hard to get motivated I try doing some crunches, reverse crunches and leg lifts every morning before work but I don't really get extra aerobic exercise in unless I go over to the fitness room on my day off while I am doing laundry (which is what I will just have to do.)
Gotta go make salad now. (I really do love it, is that weird?)

Well here goes
I have got to get on track and thus, I am doing a SlimFast (TM) fast on Monday. That's right all shake day. Jealous? I know you are. I need to shrink my stomach back down though so that it doesn't feel quite so empty when I eat normal sized portions...and no what they serve you at restaraunts are anything but normal sized portions.
Breakfast: Chocolate Royale SlimFast (TM)1scoop, 1% milk 4 oz., Iced Coffee 8oz., 1 packet of raspberry flavored vitamin c/energy powder. It is my version of an iced raspberry mocha, actually not too bad once you get used to it and it helps crush the cravings for something yummy from a coffee shop.
My SF rasp. mocha: 260 calories/55 fat calories
Same thing from a coffee shop: 480 calories/ 240 fat calories
Looks like mine wins.
Now all I need is some really great ground turkey recipes and I will be all set.

The first day of the rest of your blah blah blah
Whatever you want to embroider on a pillow, or paint on a little plaque for grandmothers to give to high school graduates because it was free from FingerHut (tm) or on sale in the grocery store check out line...I don't care, all I know is I am starting over....AGAIN!
As long as I am going to do this it makes sense to make myself accountable and so... how can you be more accountable than putting it out there for God, and everyone to read about?
