3% down

So, I mentioned that yesterday was weigh-in day and I lost 4lbs. which isn't much considering how much I have to loose but, I am going to start looking at it in a positive light. I have lost 3% of the weight I plan to at this point and only have 97% to loose now. Last week I still had 100% to loose so this is an achievement. I do feel good about the 4lbs, it can just be daunting to know that you have such a long journey ahead of you. Of course it is a lifestyle change I am making so I guess that means I have an entire lifetime in front of me.
Today I got up, did my excercises, had my yummy yogurt, apple, and granola happiness, and came to work, where I have been running my butt off as usual. I need to get a pedometer so that I know how many steps I have to take on my days off to stay at an even keel. Really curious to know. One of the men I work with has one and he does 10,000 steps on an average day (just at work).
This Wednesday I don't need to worry about how many steps I take. I am going to workout with a friend who is way more in shape than I am at her gym. I told her no matter how much I cuss at her she is not supposed to let me off easy. I am a little worried that I am not going to be able to move the next day though. (we shall see.)
